We are writing this note on Devorah’s homepage to let you know the sad news of Devorah’s passing on February 18th, 2021. Devorah had been ill with an auto-immune disorder for the past two years but she kept right on doing the work she loved, with the clients she cherished and admired, right up until her unexpected passing.
From her clients, colleagues, friends, family to the staff at JP Seafood, Boomerangs and the YMCA pool–we will share our heart ache together. Devorah built her practice with integrity, authenticity, wisdom, heart, soul and laughter and absolutely loved doing the work she did throughout her 30 years as a social worker. She brought these gifts to each of us whom she met, in whatever capacity, and continued to seek, grow and challenge herself and others -in all the best ways–throughout her life.
If you were a client of Devorah’s and you would like to talk to someone, or need further support, please contact
